The terms "ClipBuzz," "we," "us," or "our" refer to the ClipBuzz platform at clipbuzz.ai and related services (the "Service"). The terms "you" or "your" refer to any user of the Service.

ClipBuzz serves two primary audiences: brands who run verified-view clipping campaigns, and creators who clip, post, and earn. Users may also arrive via suite SSO from Cliqr or Scheduloid. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information for all of them.

By using the Service you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account data. Name, email address, phone number (when you share one), preferred language for briefs, password hash (or SSO identity links), organization/creator profile details, niches, consent grants, and communications with support.

1.2 Campaign & marketplace data. Campaign titles, budgets, rates, guidelines, source media metadata, submissions, review decisions, disputes, and chat related to campaigns.

1.3 Social connections. Handles, account identifiers, and OAuth tokens for connected platforms (encrypted at rest). Instagram/TikTok connections may be facilitated through Scheduloid; YouTube and other flows may be handled directly.

1.4 Payout data. UPI IDs, Razorpay contact / fund-account identifiers, payout ledger entries, and settlement status. Card/UPI entry for brand funding is processed by Razorpay; we do not store full card numbers.

1.5 Performance data. Post URLs, platform post IDs, view snapshots, and fraud-review signals used to calculate earnings.

1.6 Automatically collected data. IP address, device/browser metadata, cookies/session tokens, usage logs, and error reports for security and reliability.

2. How We Use Information

  • Operate the marketplace: campaigns, escrow, submissions, review, and payouts
  • Verify that posts belong to connected accounts and track verified views
  • Detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Authenticate users, including suite SSO handoffs with Cliqr and Scheduloid
  • Send transactional email (approvals, payouts, disputes, security alerts)
  • Improve AI/studio features through operational logs and aggregated analytics
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms

We do not sell your personal data to data brokers or advertising networks.

3. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to operate the Service:

  • Counterparties on a campaign: Brands see creator submissions and performance needed for review/payout; creators see campaign briefs and status relevant to their work.
  • Suite apps: Cliqr and Scheduloid receive the minimum data required for SSO, marketplace embedding, studio, and publishing workflows.
  • Service providers: Razorpay (payments/payouts), cloud hosting, PostgreSQL, S3-compatible object storage, email/SMTP, and AI providers. each under contractual confidentiality.
  • Social platforms: When you connect accounts or we fetch view metrics, data is exchanged with those platforms under their policies.
  • Legal and safety: When required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to respond to valid legal process.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to continued protection of personal data.

4. Data Retention

We retain account and campaign data while your account is active. Ledger, payout, and dispute records are kept for accounting, tax, and dispute resolution. You may request account deletion at support@clipbuzz.ai; some records may be retained where legally required.

5. Security

We use encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, hashed passwords, and encrypted storage for sensitive tokens. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies and local storage for authentication sessions, security, and preferences. You can manage cookies in your browser; disabling them may limit login and dashboard functionality.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location (including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and, where applicable, the EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. Contact us to exercise these rights; we will respond within timelines required by applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected a child's data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. International Transfers

Data may be processed in India and other countries where our providers operate. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards when data crosses borders.
